Hey! I’m Brooks

I’m a designer, problem-solver, and advocate for small business and entrepreneur success.

After years of working closely with small businesses, I witnessed firsthand the challenges of building an effective online presence. I spent countless hours creating websites and social media channels from scratch, often watching passionate entrepreneurs struggle to find the time and resources to make their digital vision a reality.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that the process could (and should) be easier. I wanted to create a solution that not only simplified website design but also empowered business owners to take full control of their online brand. That’s why I launched Mission Bay Design Co.

Great websites shouldn't be reserved for companies with massive marketing budgets.

We work with small and growing businesses to create professional websites that make them look established, credible, and ready for what's next.

We're based in San Diego and believe the website process should be straightforward, collaborative, and enjoyable.

No confusing agency jargon. No disappearing for three months. No handing you a template and telling you to figure it out.

Just a great website, built around your business.

Every Mission Bay Design Co. Squarespace website is designed and crafted with love from beautiful San Diego, California.

Let’s build something beautiful together!

When I decided to launch my full-service wedding planning business, the thought of building my own website felt completely overwhelming. I had no idea where to start, and the idea of creating something professional and functional on my own seemed impossible.

Brooks' expertise and resources were a total game-changer. I went from feeling intimidated to empowered, and now I have a website I’m proud to share with clients. Thank you so so much!! Would definitely recommend Mission Bay Design Co. to any small business owner!

As the owner of a small sporting goods business, I knew my website needed a serious refresh to keep up with today’s online standards. I wanted something modern and professional but didn’t think I had the skills—or the time—to make it happen.

Brooks made the entire process seamless. His designs are visually stunning. Now, my site looks sleek, professional, and perfectly aligned with my brand. I feel confident that my online presence truly reflects the quality of my business!

I’ve always been great at helping others build their brands on social media, but when it came to creating my own website, I felt stuck. I needed a site that was as vibrant and professional as the services I offer, but the idea of starting from scratch felt overwhelming.

Mission Bay Design Co. changed everything for me. The template I chose was not only gorgeous but made the entire process so straightforward. What stood out the most was how thoughtful the resources were—Brooks really understands how to empower business owners. My site now feels like me—bold, polished, and ready to attract my dream clients. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
